D&H Publishing International Ltd is a UK-registered publishing and technology company founded by David and Helen Oldham. We started with a simple frustration: publishing a book independently shouldn't cost a fortune, take months, or produce results that look obviously self-published. The traditional route demands authors surrender their rights and their royalties for the privilege of being published. The self-publishing route demands they become designers, typesetters, metadata specialists, and marketing strategists overnight. Neither option works for most writers. So we built something different. D&H is a publishing infrastructure company. We have developed an integrated ecosystem of AI-powered tools that takes an author from finished manuscript to professionally published book in a single day. Interior typesetting, book descriptions for every major retail platform, cover design, promotional images, and publication across Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and global distribution channels. The tools are not available as standalone products. They are the engine room of D&H Publishing International, used by our team to produce books for our member authors. The author writes the book. We do everything else. Our approach is built on three principles. First, the author owns everything. Every book we publish leaves the author with full intellectual property ownership. We make no claim on their work, their characters, their ideas, or their future projects. The manuscript is theirs before, during, and after publication with D&H. Second, the author earns fairly. We charge no commission on the first five hundred pounds of monthly sales revenue. Above that, we take ten per cent. An author earning one thousand pounds per month through D&H takes home over nine hundred and thirty-five pounds. A traditionally published author earning the same would receive roughly one hundred and fifty. We believe the person who wrote the book should keep the majority of what it earns. Third, the work must be professional. Every book published under the D&H imprint is reviewed for quality before publication. We are a publisher, not a print-on-demand service. Our name appears alongside the author's on every listing, every catalogue entry, every library record. That name has to mean something, and it does: professionally typeset interiors, considered cover design, accurate metadata, and writing that deserves to be read. D&H Publishing International publishes in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and Japanese. Our catalogue spans literary fiction, cultural history, military history, geopolitics, travel, biography, and lifestyle. We are based in France and registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17413553). We are David and Helen. We are authors ourselves.
